Beth Davidson, a Morganton native, had faith that a restaurant in Morganton was in her families plans. Eric, her husband and Co-owner was hesitant to the huge job in starting a restaurant. Their faith walk kept them moving forward to open the restaurant Jakes Hamburgers, now known as Uncle Eees.
It is no secret that at Uncle Eee’s our faith is a guiding light into how we serve our food and serve our community. At Uncle Eee’s we have hoped to keep and create a family environment where people of all-types can sit down and connect over a burger fresh off the grill.
After 12 years of service in Downtown Morganton, Uncle Eee’s is providing more than just burgers and shakes. Boasting the “best burgers outta da south”, owners Eric and Beth Davidson hope to also spread the light of God throughout the community. “I’m from Morganton and I wanted to give other people, hope that they can step out and do something successful in Morganton,” said Beth.
Uncle Eee’s plans to maintain its presence in the community by continuing to give to local outreach centers and developing relationships around the community.
